MICR Encoded Checks
CountyWorks Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Daily Statement applications have now been updated to provide the option to print MICR checks! MICR is an acronym for Magnetic Ink Character Recognition. The "MICR" line on a check is the bottom line of numbers, printed in a special way, which includes your account number, bank routing number, and check number.
